How to Play

Game Objective

WordLynks is a word association puzzle game where you need to identify groups of related words. Your goal is to find all four groups of four words, with each group sharing a common theme or category.

How to Play

1. You'll be presented with a grid of 16 words.
2. Select four words that you think belong together in a group.
3. Click "Submit" to check if your selection is correct.
4. If correct, the words will be grouped together and removed from the grid.
5. If incorrect, your selection will be cleared and you can try again.
6. Continue until you've found all four groups.

Example

Let's say you have these words: Apple, Banana, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Car, Truck, Bus, Bicycle, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Dog, Cat

You might identify these groups:

• Fruits: Apple, Banana
• Colors: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow
• Vehicles: Car, Truck, Bus, Bicycle
• European Countries: France, Spain, Italy, Germany
• Animals: Dog, Cat

Difficulty Levels

• Easy: Categories are straightforward and obvious (e.g., colors, animals, fruits).
• Medium: Categories require some thought but are still recognizable.
• Hard: Categories are subtle and may require deeper thinking or knowledge.

Tips

• Look for obvious categories first (colors, animals, countries, etc.).
• Consider different types of relationships: synonyms, categories, parts of speech, etc.
• If you're stuck, use a hint to get a clue about one of the remaining groups.
• Sometimes words might seem to fit in multiple categories, but there's only one correct solution.

Daily Challenge

Every day, there's a new puzzle available in the Daily Challenge. This is the same puzzle for all players, so you can compare your results with friends. A new challenge is available every day at midnight.
